Anastasia presents her research at ACCESS Symposium

Our outstanding undergraduate researcher Anastasia presented her first semester of research at the ACCESS Symposium, alongside other ACCESS researchers. This program supported her first year of research and connected her with the Dearing Lab. For this work, she collected and analyzed data on parasite load in mice on regular and high-protein diets, finding that diet type did not affect parasite establishment. We’re looking forward to having Anastasia continue in the lab, primarily working with Maggie on parasite-microbiome research.

Anastasia caps off her first semester of undergraduate research by presenting her first poster!
